Get It Delivered

Choose the option that best suits you:
• Local Delivery (Monday-Friday): Enter your address at checkout to see if you qualify for faster local delivery with our in-house Forkit drivers. Enjoy lower shipping costs and even fresher meals arriving throughout the week!
• Selected Rural Delivery (Choose Your Dispatch Day): For areas outside our local delivery zone, we've partnered with New Zealand's premium courier partner with cold chain capabilities to ensure your Forkit meals arrive safely and chilled. Choose between Sunday or Wednesday dispatch at checkout. Please note: Certain postal codes may only be eligible for Sunday delivery via courier.
• Pick Up: Select this option at checkout if you prefer to pick up your Forkit meals directly from our location. We'll notify you when your order is ready for pickup.

Heat & Eat

Grab a fork to pierce the film, or ‘Fork it’ as we call it, pop it in the microwave for 2-3 minutes or until piping hot, and enjoy the Forkin' goodness!

• Next-Day Delivery (Mon-Fri): Order by 1:00 PM and get your Forkit fix the very next day!

• Selected Rural Delivery (Sun & Wed): Outside our local zone? We deliver on selected rural areas on Sundays and Wednesdays (Monday 10:00 AM cutoff for Wednesday delivery, Thursday 1:00 PM cutoff for Sunday delivery).

• Pick Up: Prefer to grab your meals? Select pickup at checkout and we'll notify you when your order is ready.

At the Forkit Kitchen, we have a state-of-the-art tray sealer machine which can perform Modified Atmospheric Packaging (MAP). It does this by flushing out all food degrading gases out and pushing in natural food preserving gases of each Forkit meal, allowing them to stay fresh in the fridge for up to 7 days from delivery, depending on the temperature of your fridge this could be longer.

We've designed all Forkit meals to have optimal shelf-life in both the fridge and the freezer. We do this by using the freshest ingredients and without using any preservatives. As well as our kitchen being MPI custom food plan registered (one of the highest level of licences you can get in our industry). This means our state-of-the-art kitchen meets a high level of operational standard, and our food prepping/cooking/cooling/packaging processes are all top-notch as we take food safety extremely seriously.

Forkit meal trays are crafted from high grade recycled plastic and are type 1 recyclable in New Zealand - ensuring you're eating your meals in a top spec'd food grade tray that is also eco-friendly. And for added convenience, these trays are both microwave safe and both fridge/freezer friendly, so you can heat them up quickly and enjoy them whenever you're ready.

We value transparency when it comes to serving our customers. The main ingredients used in Forkit meals are from whole food sources. In the ingredients tab, you can see each ingredient used in each Forkit meal, along with common allergens. Each product page also features a Nutritional Information Panel (NIP) in the ‘nutrition’ tab for every Forkit meal.

If you have any allergies or intolerances, or if you’re not too sure, please let us know. While we make every effort to minimise possible cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that there are no traces of allergens in our dishes as we are not a certified allergen-free kitchen. However, rest assured that we are committed to operate the Forkit Kitchen to the highest food safety standards.

• We have upgraded our production kitchen, and we can now deliver your meals more often!
• All current Sunday delivery subscribers will still receive their Forkit meals on Sundays, but you can easily switch to the more economic in-house weekday delivery if you prefer.
• Automatic charges are processed on the day of first subscription (e.g. subscribed on a Monday, charged every Monday) evening, giving us time to resolve any charge errors or order changes before the cut-off times.
• This gives us until Monday and Thursday at 10AM respectively to resolve any charge errors, or order changes.
• Once you log into your account on our website, you can manage your subscription orders, including swapping, removing, adding, or skipping orders. Please note that any changes need to be made before our order cut-off times.
• If a charge fails, you will receive an email notification. Please contact us before the order cut-off time so we can re-apply the charge and confirm your order.
• If a charge failure isn't resolved before the cut-off time, we won't be able to complete your order for dispatch on the respective days.
